New PA Program hiring for Administrative and Faculty Positions
Mississippi College Department of
Physician Assistant Studies (a developing Master of Science program) is offering
various positions including Director of Admissions, Director of Preclinical
Education, Evaluation Director, and Faculty Instructor. The university plans
to enroll the inaugural class in June, 2011. The Physician Assistant Program
will be housed in the University's School of Science and Mathematics.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record in PA education and
clinical practice. The candidate should also possess a commitment to continued
professional development and scholarly work.
Minimum requirements include current NCCPA certification, a master's degree
in a relevant field, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and
eligibility for Mississippi licensure. The salary will be commensurate with
qualifications and experience and a competitive benefit package.
